Some of the key areas covered in orthopaedics include:

Trauma and Fractures: Orthopaedic surgeons are experts in the treatment of broken bones and other traumatic injuries to the musculoskeletal system, including injuries resulting from car accidents, falls, and sports injuries.

Joint Replacement: Joint replacement surgery involves replacing damaged or diseased joints with artificial implants, such as those used in hip, knee, and shoulder replacement surgeries. Orthopaedic surgeons perform thousands of joint replacement surgeries each year, helping patients regain mobility and alleviate pain.

Sports Medicine: Orthopaedic surgeons who specialize in sports medicine focus on the treatment and prevention of injuries related to sports and exercise. This includes injuries to the knee, shoulder, hip, elbow, ankle, and other areas of the body.
